Our Services

Asbestos Sampling

Suitable where a single or small number of samples are required to confirm asbestos content and a full report is not necessary. We provide you with the bulk analysis report from the laboratory and our recommendations for treatment.

Asbestos ‘Management’ Surveys

Carried out by experienced, qualified, and insured staff using a combination of visual inspection and sampling in accordance with HSG 264. Samples are analysed at a UKAS accredited laboratory using polarised light microscopy. Our professional report contains detailed building descriptions, areas inspected, photographs, bulk analysis certificates, sample locations and surveyors recommendations for any control or management actions required to maintain each identified asbestos containing material in safe condition.

Asbestos ‘Refurbishment & Demolition’ Surveys

Carried out using destructive survey techniques to expose the areas of the building described in the scope of works for replacement, refurbishment or demolition. A schedule of asbestos containing materials for removal is produced and divided into categories i.e. notifiable (can only be removed by licensed contractors) or non-notifiable together with removal notes and the relevant HSE asbestos essentials task sheets. Meets the requirement of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

Asbestos Re-inspection Surveys

Usually carried out annually to monitor the condition of each asbestos containing material identified in the original survey report. Photographs and risk assessments are updated and the asbestos register re-issued.

Asbestos Registers

Designed to provide instant recognition using plans and photographs and current status for anyone carrying out work on the premises detailing where asbestos containing materials are located, their risk, who is allowed to disturb them and when they are due for re-inspection.

Asbestos Management Plans

You do not comply with the Control of Asbestos Regulations unless you have written policies and procedures in place. They should describe who is responsible for what and how you manage your asbestos containing materials on a day-to-day basis, for project work and in an emergency. Through our unique perspective and experience we have designed a whole system of management which has been tested and proven in the most complicated organisations and environments ready for you to implement.

Asbestos Awareness Training

For anyone who’s work may bring them into contact with asbestos containing materials or anyone managing such work in accordance with regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. Two hours of training in the form of a minimal, professional slide presentation, video and risk assessment exercises delivered at your premises. Certificates and full notes are provided following successful completion of a multiple choice question paper.

Asbestos Risk Assessment

Material and priority risk assessment using algorithms adapted to the user enabling you to compare different asbestos containing materials to each other, letting you prioritise, plan and budget for any measures required to maintain a safe environment for your employees.
